Terms of Service
Terms for using Padool
Effective date: March 7, 2026. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Padool website and the Padool mobile app. By accessing or using Padool, you agree to these terms.
What Padool is
Padool is a personal planning and focus product. It helps you manage seasonal goals, commitments, daily focus, reflections, and related profile or personalization settings. Padool is not a public social platform, competitive scoring system, medical service, or emergency response service.
Accounts and identity
- Some Padool features require an account and sign-in session.
- Padool currently supports account access through email-based sign in and supported identity providers such as Google or Apple.
- Different resolved email identities are treated as separate accounts. For example, Apple Hide My Email and direct email OTP sign-in may map to different account identities.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account and for maintaining the security of your device, email, and sign-in methods.
Your content and planning data
Your plans, reflections, profile details, personalization choices, and related app data remain yours. You grant Padool the limited rights needed to host, store, process, sync, back up, and display that data solely to operate the service for you.
Padool may store data locally on your device and, when signed in, in account-scoped cloud systems so your setup and progress can be restored and synchronized across devices.
Acceptable use
- You may use Padool only in compliance with applicable law and these terms.
- You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer protected systems, or use the service to distribute unlawful or harmful material.
- You may not use Padool in a way that could damage, disable, or overburden the service or other users' access to it.
Service providers and third-party systems
Padool relies on third-party providers to operate parts of the service. Based on the current implementation, these include Supabase for authentication and cloud sync, PostHog for product analytics, Sentry for crash diagnostics, and Google Forms for optional support submissions when you choose to send them.
Your use of app stores, identity providers, device platforms, and other third-party services may also be subject to those providers' own terms and policies.
Availability, changes, and feedback
Padool may evolve over time. We may update features, change service behavior, fix defects, or discontinue parts of the service as the product develops. We may also use feedback or suggestions you choose to send to improve Padool, without any obligation to compensate you.
Suspension, deletion, and termination
You may stop using Padool at any time. If you are signed in, you can delete your Padool account and account-scoped data inside the app or use the public instructions on the account deletion page if you lose app access.
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you are violating these terms, creating security risk, or misusing the service.
Disclaimers
Padool is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, perfect sync, or that the service will always meet your specific needs.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Padool and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, use, or data arising from or related to your use of the service.
Privacy
Your use of Padool is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains what data Padool collects, how it is used, and how deletion works.
